Salvaged Door Turned Dining Room Table Final Day A

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!  We will finish of the table in 2 final steps...1, pickup our ordered glass and 2, install the glass into the door and deliver  the item to our client.  This morning, we picked up our 2 pieces of glass.  To get the correct dimensions, we measured just inside each panel from end to end and side to side on the first bevel.  Fortunately enough for us, the bevel/edge is large enough to hold the entire pane of glass.  We decided to go with 1/4" thick glass along with an 1/8" chamfer.  A chamfer, is a beveled edge connecting 2 surfaces.  We actually used this on the bottom side to make the connection between the different levels of bevels so that it is able to hold the weight of everyday objects on our table..........

You can see from our next pics the 2 pieces we went with.........

Next, we will have the 2 pieces installed to complete out table.  SALVAGE SOMETHING!!!  http://www.kingsofsalvage.com/
